For this past year, I've been coming to work by bus and then, at the end of the day, I walk home. It's a ~6.5 km ride (4 miles, for you metric impaired folk) and takes a little over an hour to complete.
Last week, I had my bike all pimped out and instead of bus+walking, I brought the bike. The bike route isn't the same as the walking route, so it's a bit longer at ~7.5 km (4.6 miles). But it takes me only 40 minutes each way.
Today it's raining and I still need to get proper mudflaps for that bike, so I went back to bus+walk.
That's all the exercise I do... In a year or so, I went down from ~75kg to ~71kg (165 to 155lbs)...

I run 5 miles, three days a week. I get the balance of my exercise by jumping to conclusions.

If you aren't referring to walking the dogs, pulling weed or digging holes I'm not sure what this "exercise/workout" refers to.
