More about God

RE: More about God
So to make slavery to your god sound better to me, you are just redefining slavery.

RE: More about God
There's only one reason I can think of to try and get people to notice they are slaves, and that is to free them.

That's actually the role of the irreligious, if anything. The religious are often slaves, but it's all in their mind. There is no slavedriver. They can just stop, get up and walk out. Of course, with an indoctrinated mind, I know it's not that simple.

So there is no absolute freedom? Interesting idea, and I might agree, but the master is not your supernatural god, but nature. It is evolution that forces us to respirate the way we do, digest food the way we do (and our requirement for food). It is physics that prevents us from flight.

So yes, we are all slaves in that we cannot choose to change this nature.

However, theists choose an additional master in their supernatural god.

You have an odd definition of the term "mercy."
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I will attempt to answer these with my own viewpoints.

--A--> Because everything began with him, he is the first and the last; he owns it all from before, and after.

Oh he does? So you're telling me that this God owns himself? And if he owns it all, he owns the mass genocide of culture, the death of millions to diseases which torture the body? And what is your definition of after? After human life? I thought human life didn't end...

---A---> Because the relation between us and him, is described with the word "slave" in our languages.

I don't want to be a slave to a totalitarian dictator that has proven to be homophobic, misogynistic, and racist, thank you.

--A--> No. Being a slave to another human is, and to animals, and to lust.

If you're truly a learned believer, you'd know multiple religious texts call for and approve of slavery.

---A--->Humans need help; God doesn't. At least you won't feed him under the whips of somebody else.
Slavery is only disgusting with other creatures.

If God doesn't need help, why are there missionaries to spread his message? This all powerful God should be able to "Zap" his grace into me right? He should also be able to directly speak to me like he did Biblical Characters too, right? Or is he not concerned with the people he "loves" so much?

--A-->everything. Even the void itself.

He created everything? So you're telling me he created evil? He doesn't seem all-good to me now. Speaking of that, it's one of my favorite arguments to say that if he's all-good and all-knowing, he has to know lust, envy and anger, which cancels out him being all-good.

--A-->It depends on how we see ourselves, and if we moved from the neanderthal mentality yet.
With the existence of death; that who made us, can remakes us.

If he remakes us, how does he do that? Are we in our twenties' or teenage years? Or are we as old as when we died? Are we made virgins again?

Paul was a misogynist: A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 1st Timothy 2:11-13

Especially when there's no safe word.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
