No I don't speak French or Cajun French but I do understand most of my grandparents and relatives when they speak it.

Also I live 45 miles southwest of New Orleans and we say it more like Nor-lens, but fast like one word.

Also it's easy to get lost traveling the back roads we don't have many signs out here.

We do say garrontee, so I would have to say yes.

And no I'd love to visit canada some day my grandpaws grandpaw (my great great on my dads side) was from Nova Scotia. Don't have to much history on my moms side. But I hate the cold anything less than 60 is miserable for us down here.

Catfish and crawdads, or shrimp and snapper?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Is that because of the bullet holes?

Is it true that Cajuns define 'Yankee' as anyone born north of Interstate 10?

Catfish and crawfish for sure. Lot of people like shrimp down here but I like crawfish way more.
Also we have a lot of road signs shot up that actually is real down here. And I do live south of i10 but no, we call anyone above the state line from Arkansas a yankee
