That's why I thought the web article I saw was a little click-baity.

Evolution is an interesting topic but not performing C-sections in the name of Darwin is a bit of a stretch.

Performing c-section is part of Darwinian evolution. Just as evolution gave lion fangs, and fangs play a big role in the evolution of lions, so too evolution gave humans the ability to do c sections, and c sections will play its role in future human evolution.

To say evolution is but a subset of gene pool modifiers we arbitrarily title to be natural, and ignore the fact that nature encompasses everything we did, we do, and we can ever do, is just silly.

I'm certainly not. As I said, we and our tech are our environment. Evolution will operate on that environment. It isn't a should, shouldn't issue. Whether we save people is a should shouldn't question. And I think we should.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
