It may not make him more likable, but it definitely won't hurt him. Bush Jr. proved himself to be the most bumbling and dangerous idiot in the office in decades, and the morons re-elected him without a moment's pause.

Yes, but it's hard to believe he would have been re-elected without 9/11 and the two wars we were fighting in 2004. Horrible as it is to say, the terrorists were the best thing that ever happened to that man, politically.

That's why I'm so concerned about what Trump may do on the international stage, whether as a matter of active policy or in reaction to events outside his control. He may be a dangerous clown, but he's one who understands what sells. I don't believe for a moment that the lessons of the 2004 election were lost on him.

The hackers just revealed information that was

A. True
B. Something we should be allowed to know anyway.

Hackers didn't sink Hillary's campaign, her own terrible ethics did. She just didn't expect anyone to find out about it.

Yet Hillary Clinton was apparently fooled by the same information that Bush was about Iraq or even worse, fooled by that bumbling, dangerous idiot himself into voting for Iraq. Either way.

It's a damn good precedent to set if you ask me. If we're going to be stuck with the electoral college system, we might as well use it how it was intended, which is to prevent people who are not qualified to be President, or who are under the influence of foreign powers (both arguably are somewhat true for Trump) from being elected President.

Yeah, I wish we would have thought of that when a community organizer was elected as president eight years ago. Give it up. You guys lost. The Dems aren't going to win campaigns by taking for granted the white blue collar workers in the rust belt swing states. Hillary lost the election all by herself.

I expect him to quit after about six months when he realises that he may have to actually do some work and not just tweet all day fucking long. The damage he will do in the mentime would be massive and leave us with Pence/Palpatine.

At his victory speech he said "you will look back in two or three years at my term in office....."

For those still complaining about the electoral college, it's similar to fielding a team in an American football game instructing them to play by rugby rules and then complaining about the result. As I've said elsewhere, changing the electoral college would take a Constitutional amendment, not going to happen. The better route is to get individual states to apportion results like Maine and Nebraska.
