Nooooooooo! No way. You'll never get me to believe it.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

god is everyone and everything. he is everywhere. we are all him. and him, us. My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around. And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast.

A serious discussion about the all-encompassing nature of a singularity?  Yeah, next let's have a serious discussion about the fractal nature of unicorns' horns.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I'm not high. But singularity give me headache. It's small and pointy...

Dude, heat your toilet a little, that'll take care of it.

This is the most illogical premise I've ever seen.

There is one thing that absolutely everything can't be and that is nothing. And nothing most definitely isn't any thing at all let alone every single fucking thing.

Your logic score is at 0%

Even if I were stoned I'd logic better than that. So much better than that.

I don't think it's possible to have an earnest discussion on this site. There are some exceptional threads, but theists usually go to church and not here to be ridiculed

Theists are ridiculed at church? Explains a lot.

I'd say they go to Church to associate with people who help them build the kind of self they'd like to become.
