There is one song that I must hear, the sine qua non of xmas.

Give me Donny Hathaway and a half gallon of eggnog and I'm kewl.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

There needs to be shunning for 12 days.

Or 8 days.

Or 6 days.

Or 365 days.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

12 days of xmas. Every time I tried to add up how many birds my true love sent me, I'd get a different figure. But it will be enough to make me hate birds and strangle my true love.

Yes, I can and do celebrate Christmas in spite of the religious rubbish behind it.

I love socializing this time of year. Getting together with friends, eating fabulous food and desserts, seeing Christmas lights in the neighborhood, listening to The Nutcracker music on full blast, mailing and receiving handwritten Christmas cards...

Life can be pretty dismal as it is - why would I give up all that?

8 days of hanukkah, 6 days of kwanzaa, 365 days of why shun only on the high holidays.

Well, technically, we can't really celebrate Xmas until we build a robot Santa to go around killing everyone.
