It's the don't give a shit syndrome. People just don't care when it happens behind prison walls. Not because of stigma but because it's under the radar of most people. It doesn't get coverage and most people don't think they could be on the receiving end at one time.

As for support that's also BS Mankind initative ,The TNDVH the MRC. the MAL and can name at least a dozen others THAT SPECIFICALLY DEAL WITH THIS VERY ISSUE. Considering my job deals with domestic abuse I should freaking know. The problem in my experience. Men are ashamed that they have failed at meeting a male made image that men can't be victims and that admitting they can be lessens them . The resources are there they just need to use them.
