That's fucking insane.

They need detainment in order to protect others from their violence. (Yes I don't even believe in retribution or just deserts but I think they should be locked up for life for the safety of others).

The defense attorney stated that there were other facts not taken into account when the "no bail" determination was made. Maybe, maybe not. If there are other facts that will possibly change the original determination, lets hear them, not allude to them.

Quite frankly, jail might be the safest place for them at this time.

Their treatment seems to be a clear violation of the Illinois State constitution.

SECTION 9. BAIL AND HABEAS CORPUS
"All persons shall be bailable by sufficient sureties, except for the following offenses where the proof is evident or the presumption great: capital offenses; offenses for which a sentence of life imprisonment may be imposed as a consequence of conviction; and felony offenses for which a sentence of imprisonment, without conditional and revocable release, shall be imposed by law as a consequence of conviction, when the court, after a hearing, determines that release of the offender would pose a real and present threat to the physical safety of any person. The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended except in cases of rebellion or invasion when the public safety may require it."

They're hungry, they're just upset because their periods came in too early.

But really, they're the ones mentally challenged, for harassing an innocent person.

Well, since every story has at least two sides here's one side. The simple thing is to say that the four abused a vulnerable people who was betrayed by his friend. The more complex thing to think about is that the four actually sacrificed their own freedom and welfare by doing something against their own self-interests in order to help the guy financially. Before the incident the guy was poor and had no prospects of getting any money any time soon. So they attacked him and put it out for everyone to see and to become enraged about to the point where strangers sent the abused person their own hard-earned money that they could have spent on their own needs and obligations.

The net result is that the victim got money for working for it by being abused for a few hours and the perps will lose their freedom for making it possible.

At one time or another we've all said "I wish I had some money" without actually thinking about the consequences or how we would get it. It's like when cops shoot a person dead and the city pays out $millions to the survivors. They got the money that they had always dreamed about but it came with an unexpected price.

So send the victim some money. It will make you feel better.

I can't work out if you're actually seriously suggesting any intention of these utter cunts was to 'help the guy financially'. That's some ass backward thinking to say the very least.

So strange...

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Seriously wyrd. I have counselled murders and rapists less warped then you. What mishap of nature or nurture has twisted you so?
