Except in the faked incident it would create actual victims and real life consequences based on on a lie.

I'd say the hate crime is definitely worse, especially if it involves hurting someone physically. Like what happened to that handicapped kid who got kidnapped, tortured, and beat up bc of his race. Stuff like that is very much worse. But that doesn't take away the nastiness of faking a hate crime, either. It's falsely accusing innocent people who may very well get in trouble by the law for something they did not do. You could say that faking a hate crime in itself is sort of a mild form of hate crime because you're doing it with the intention of villainizing the group of people you don't like.

I was actually speaking to the aftermath. Didn't make it clear the way I wanted. We've seen the riots, the protests, the burnings, the looting, destruction of property, people hurt, when the justice system doesn't mete out fair justice in the eyes of the offended for an actual hate crime. This same reaction can also happen with the fabrication of a hate crime. Although a lie it wouldn't be victimless either.

RE: Faked hate crimes
Ah I see what you mean. Yeah faking hate crimes creates division and fear, and does so completely unnecesssrily and based on lies.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I came in here and said, "i don't care who commits fake hate crimes, whoever does it sucks." Im not sure what could possibly be so controversial about that comment. I never said that committing a fake hate crime was worse than a real one. When someone makes a post about rape, am I supposed to say "well, murder is worse"? Can't I just say "yeah, rape is heinous and rapists suck"? I think you need to chill out. Seems like you're taking your frustrations of other ppl out on me.

Lol, I'm perfectly chill. I cant help it if expressing my opinion and asking questions makes you feel lectured. Defensive much? Did I touch a nerve?

I'm just trying to point out how conservatives are using this issue to avoid having to discuss the real hate crimes. You say you can be angry about both, but your first post said nothing about the real hate crimes. You're focused on the fake hate crimes instead of the real ones, which is exactly the point of bringing them up in the first place.

And your metaphor of hate crimes equaling murder and fake ones equaling rape is absurd. It's more like murder and shoplifting.

I'm actually starting to think more of the "hate crimes" are hoaxes then we think. Really I haven't heard of that many hate crimes. Problem is the left exaggerates so much about everything it's hard to take them seriously anymore. I talk with my former leftist freinds and we all agree, it's probably an misperception. The extreme political leftist progressives claim everything is hate. There was a story of someone drawing in chalk on a sidewalk on a college campus "Make American Great Again" "MAGA", and the left declared it a hate crime of intolerance because they perceived it to be racist. Only in the completely subverted mindset of a crazy leftist would making your own country great be racist, but that's what we are dealing with these days. These people are losers, who are stuck in a victim state. The DNC will never rise anyone above victim status, because that's their base, otherwise what would there be to fight for. They don't want equality. It's a scam, and they will always keep you down. Rise up yourselves! Take charge of your lives instead of blaming others. Blame yourselves for not achieving what you could. That's what I did.

Are there racists? Yes, and there will always be. It's human nature and tribalism to stay connected to your own kind.

Are there hate crimes? Yes, I'm not saying there are not. I also haven't posted any of the hate crimes against Trump supporters by weirdo leftists either. There are many!

This thread is about people faking hate crimes, and why someone would feel the need to do so.

The strength of the KKK is irrelevant.  The fact is that they, and every other racist organization in this country, likes the same candidate you do.  You guys get so triggered when liberals call Trump racist, but you don't give a damn that the racists think he's racist.  They're very selective of who they support, and they think Trump's their man.

Oh, you haven't heard of that many hate crimes?  Because I'm sure you were looking out for them.  I guess it's hard to be in touch with reality when you listen to Alex Jones, though. Here's some help.

Quote:In the 10 days after Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election, the country experienced a surge in hate crime, according to a study by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The prominent U.S. civil rights group released a report Tuesday identifying 867 incidents of harassment and intimidation between November 9 and November 18. Many of those incidents involved harassers invoking Trump's name, making it clear that the outbreak of hate was primarily due to his success in the election.

It sounded like (and still sounds like, quite honestly) you were having some sort of problem with me coming into a thread about fake hate crimes and saying they suck. Which seemed ridiculous.

Ok. I have no problem with you pointing out what some conservatives do. Just don't understand why you're saying it to me.

So because my first post on a thread about fake hate crimes, was condemning fake hate crimes, you think this is somehow is at odds with me being angry about real hate crimes as well? I'm not "focused" on the fake hate crimes in the general sense. I'm commenting on fake hate crimes on this thread because this thread is about fake hate crimes, lol. And I still don't understand why that was so controversial.

Hopefully now that I've had to say it 3 times, you are rest assured that yes, I think real hate crimes are worse than fake hate crimes.  Rolleyes

I did not AT ALL make the metaphor that hate crimes equal murder and fake ones equal rape. If that's what you got from what I said, then you have misunderstood.
