Timing is really tough for second independence referendum. They need to delay it as long as possible so the pain and fear of Brexit will win over more people. But the EU want them to have it sooner so negotiations can start sooner on staying in the EU so this can avoid leaving the EU and then having to re-apply.

The EU don't want Scotland to be a mini-UK so it will need to find its own place in the EU and this will take time.

What's amazing is that so many people actually want to move to Scotland. I've always been under the impression that people just sort of appeared in Scotland and then tried their best to get the hell out.

No one has explained to me why that's a bad thing. They just assume that it is and that everyone else agrees with them.

I just don't want Scotland to be the next Greece, that's all. But you know, it's a referendum so I will respect the result regardless.

Scotland isn't really that bad, put it this way, Scotland and Northern Ireland are the best countries in the UK by far. I'd definitely consider dual citizenship in the unlikely event of something like independence happening though but so far that is just simply a dream that will probably never amount to anything.
I am very concerned about the future.

The unionists like to peddle this idea that Scotland is too small to go it alone, all the while ignoring the fact that Ireland, Denmark, Norway and Finland also have lots of natural resources like Scotland, a similar sized population and are on the edge of Europe.

I think that they don't like the idea of losing unfettered access to that north sea oil in any subsequent territorial dispute.

We don't have much by way of natural resources, and what we do we generally give away for a song (eg the state only gets 1% of profits from any natural gas produced in Ireland, where the likes of Norway gets near 50% of revenue). Yet we still manage to survive most days.
