RE: Flat Earth
Believing the earth IS flat seems much less ridiculous than believing that everything came about WITH a creator.

Kinda like the same as believing that creator didn't need a creator itself Angel

RE: Flat Earth
The earth is obviously flat. I know this... because I've driven through Ohio.

Why do people like him think there is any legitimacy to his claims? Is there any legitimacy? I think he's stupid.

The flat earth society is alive and well. Their forum is well worth a visit. Some of the arguments are very clever. Hard to pick the poes and trolls.

I've driven over two very flat places; The Hay Plain in New South Wales is over 500 miles of nothing but 500 miles. The Nullabor Plain is bigger ,but far more interesting. I once drove 60 miles from Chicago Princeton Illinois. I later ate a LOT of corn,as well as the biggest, best, T bone I'd ever seen.Discovered Corona.

To simply dismiss an argument as stupid is an ad hominem and mentally lazy..Try explaining why;it may be harder than you think.
Man is not so much a rational animal as a rationalising one.

RE: Flat Earth
I once has a friend who said the Earth was flat because it appeared flat to our perception. :/ It was sad...

Don't make fun of Ohio! Michigan is worse. Tongue We are not all flat! Come to Cincinnati and try to get your car up Devil's Backbone and then call Ohio flat. >.> Tongue

I thought the reasons for the Earth not being flat are obvious. It's an oblate spheroid.
