When taught about how Hitler won over everyone around him, there was one major consensus: no one saw him as evil.

I am not stating that Trump is our new Hitler.  Rather, Trump is worse.

No, he is not the anti-christ, though if one was to be materialized through the perception of logic rather than fantasy, it would be Trump.

Hitler won Time's Man of the Year award in 1938:

It is my understanding that German women found him attractive and came out in droves to listen to his speeches.

Far as I understand it, Man of the Year isn't necesarilly a positive award. As far as 1938 goes, he's certainly deserving of the title. He made two conquests without any bloodshed, since it was still appeasment time.

As far as finding him attractive. You have to compare him to his contemporaries. He was relatively young, compared to other politicians of the time. Trump is neither young nor attractive, I would say.

You were taught wrong, firstly Hitler never won everbody over, in fact his popularity was beginning to nosedive when von Papen gave him the Chancellorship, and secondly plenty of people thought him evil from the word go.

The triumph of Hitler was to give him power over and above what he was due electorally, by duping them that only he could safeguard their position in German politics and society.

There's no doubt that he gave speeches that inspired the Germans to a fervor.
