Another great loss.  I remember the first time I became aware of him was actually narrating as "The Storyteller".  I wished that show had more than one partial season.
He was great in so many things. Sad

That brings me back to the days when I was on Newspeak Dictionary, and then it got overrun by trolls...

And back to the topic at hand: here's one of my personal favourite John Hurt performances.




Fun fact: several actors who had been given the script actually turned down larger roles on the condition they played this role. Eventually, John Hurt got cast.
