Meh, no it won't. It'll just make the Dems look bad.

They already look bad; question is, "How can they look any worse?"  If they do not stand-up to Trump now, then he will continue to appoint right-wing judges.  I bet that they will filibuster and will succeed.  I remember Robert Bork in the late 80s and this guy is just as crazy, if not more so.

Gorsuch approves of sweat lodges.

I find myself in concurrence . . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

You know what's changed since then? The nuclear option to break filibusters, which has Ben used by the democrats, and I'm not a fan of hoping McConnell's love of congressional tradition to prevent it's use again.

BTW, why is Gorsuch even a 'thing' now ?

throughout her lackadaisical campaign of torpor and ennui, Hillary didn't even rouse enough to raise Garland as an issue. An old Italian proverb springs to mind: silence conveys consent. And seeing more angst and fervor now on what was clearly a dead issue during Hillary's campaign is galling in the extreme.

Can we agree this sort of somnolent crap isn't going to occur in 2018 ?
