I watched it to see how they understood a totally unknown language, and they managed to gloss over that very part. The actual story does a lot better job at explaining it though...

I saw it and liked it.

I don't think it has a pro-life agenda in any way.

It's an amazing language that give its speaker the ability to transcend know laws of physics and see thousands of years into the future. I can fully understand why they might have difficulty showing how such a language can be understood.

That concept comes at the very end, the interesting part was how they prepared to ask them about their purpose. It took so much planning and step by step effort to explain each individual word, but the movie made it seem like a magic computer algorithm did everything

And how can anything be a major crisis if it only requires one Avengers ("one of the weak ones" in fact)?

I watched it and assumed it was all a product of her becoming unstuck in time like Billy Pilgrim, not out of some ideology.
