Condensed soup is Ebola.

Poll: Do you like condensed soup well enough? (Obviously, tinned soup is tinned soup any way you eat it)

America first, baby! Condensed soup is great value for yo dollar, and the small size of the cans is an absolute godsend for my (preppers bunker) family's food-mowing needs!

Canned isn't the way to go if you can avoid it, but if you got it into yer head that tinned soup is for you then CONDENSED soup is a poverty food by that already destitute comparison! Taste is imperative.

Now I have to watch that episode of The Goodies, in which they get rid of a giant vat of a 'clown virus' nerve agent for an American general, by disguising and selling it as tomato soup.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

There are some brands of canned soup available here in the states to which you do not add water and which taste .. less bad .. than condensed soup. But no soup can compare to one I make from scratch, and when I do make soup I'll have a meal every day for over a week often with a little frozen for down the road.

My favorites to make: Lamb neck and barley; broccoli and cheese; potato and sorrel; and of course a general stock pot chicken/turkey based soup following the consumption of any whole bird.
