Sun miracle

RE: Sun miracle
I read as much of the wiki article as I could tolerate  ( life is short ).

First , between 30,000 and 100,000? That is a spread of 70,000 people. If you can not narrow it down closer than that why not counter claim there where 10,000 only? But who is counting?

Second, this so called miracle occured in 1917,  yet was not documented until the 1940's. Plenty of time for  bullshit to work its magic. Which leads to...

Third , the accounts of the appearance of the sun vary greatly.

I say... Bullshit!

RE: Sun miracle
People stared at the sun for fucks sake! They'll see things! I'm surprised they didn't all end up blind claiming it was due to seeing the god in all his splendor.

Ok, dude. Say there was a Fatima miracle. Fine. Let's.
So the fuck what? What's it to you? How would that miracle influence you?

This person I know: was six years old. Pastor's child. Devout Christians. This child prayed like a fucking adult every morning, every night. This child believed in fairytales... I mean... miracles. One day a preacher enters the room in which this child is about to sleep along with a friend (sleepover). The preacher tells the child to guard the door and then he rapes the friend kid while the other kid watches in terror and pees her pants. She's next. Not before a beating for peeing her pants. The whole time she mumbled the words "god help me", but nope. Nada. This child grew up to be raped a couple times more by other people, each time more violently than the last.

To the right you have children starving. To the left you have children with cancer.

Tell me you believe in the Fatima miracle and that you give two shits about it. I believe people were ignorant enough to look at the sun, but that even if a god was real and made it happen, I'd spit in her eye and tell her to fuck off. Good day.

Worthwhile to note, while god was supposedly dicking around with the sun, or not, WW1 was really getting to be fun.  Also, Navy beat Maryland 64-0.....not sure where jesus was on that one, Maryland could have used a point on the board...losing to a bunch of sodomites...the shame.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The genocide of Armenian Christians was well under way. Yet , god decides to make the sun get jiggy instead of hearing millions of prayers for help.

Did you not read this part of the article you linked?

Critical evaluation of the event

Auguste Meessen, following the work done before him by the Belgian skeptic Marc Hallet, has stated sun miracles cannot be taken at face value and that the reported observations were optical effects caused by prolonged staring at the sun. Meessen contends that retinal after-images produced after brief periods of sun gazing are a likely cause of the observed dancing effects. Similarly Meessen states that the color changes witnessed were most likely caused by the bleaching of photosensitive retinal cells. Meessen observes that Sun Miracles have been witnessed in many places where religiously charged pilgrims have been encouraged to stare at the sun.

RE: Sun miracle
The sun is a large object at the centre of the solar system and the alleged miracle was only supposedly witnessed by a few people in one place on the planet.
Whats to disprove? it could not have happened as reported.

Because magic, dammit!  It could so have happened as reported!  Just because there were conflicting reports of what happened, including "nothing happened", and it happened only to a group of people staring at the Sun doesn't prove God didn't magic it!  It only strongly suggests God didn't magic it!
Have you ever noticed all the drug commercials on TV lately?  Why is it the side effects never include penile enlargement or super powers?
Side effects may include super powers or enlarged penis which may become permanent with continued use.  Stop taking Killatol immediately and consult your doctor if you experience penis enlargement of more than 3 inches, laser vision, superhuman strength, invulnerability, the ability to explode heads with your mind or time travel.  Killatoll is not for everyone, especially those who already have convertibles or vehicles of ridiculous size to supplement penis size.

And the fact that not everyone saw it happen, or even saw the same thing, only goes to prove it must have been a miracle! Because anything else would be silly...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Last time you said they might have seen a sun dog however sun dogs are stationary and some stated the sun moved for east to west or fell near to the earth some stated tiny pieces of light fell down others saw nothing at all. Also Lisbon which is only 17 miles away did not see anything please read the wikipedia article on it and tell me what you think.

The so-called Miracle of the Sun at Fatima?  Remember, it was supposed to occur at local solar noon time, but was some 20 minutes late.  Lucia, the "head seer", needed something fast, and so, when it stop raining and the clouds began to clear, she started screaming, "Look at the Sun, look at the Sun...."  And, so, the whole event was a case of mass hysteria; just remember, there were some at Fatima who denied seeing anything or that anything supernatural had occurred!!  The testimony of these folks is rarely mentioned.
