People start dying around 130F heat index:

Mmk. I've felt 110 here in Texas before and I'm still ok with the heat...

That's because you are young and sexy.  Anthropogenic global warming will claim the very old and very young first; this year alone hundreds of children will die in their families' cars.  During the next grand heat wave, hundreds of elderly will perish in their apartments, often dying alone.  Eventually, if the temperature goes up another 1 to 2 degrees C, thousands will begin to die every year.  Anything beyond that will start to cause millions of deaths worldwide.

I'm not sure what sexy has to do with it but um thank you? Please don't assume that I don't understand the issue with the heat or that I'm not sympathetic to those that die in it. I simply said I prefer the extreme heat and would like to live where it is hot.

Here's a more astute analysis of the topic:

http://www.pnas.org/content/107/21/9552.full

If planet wide temperatures hit 40 degrees C, it's all over with:

The sad thing is that when human civilization recognizes the gravity of anthropogenic global warming, it may be, at that point, too late to do anything about it.  The humans remaining would simply be forced to watch their planet die around them.  How sad!
