I've pretty much stopped thinking about it. It was just a minute of paranoia I had there.

It's only paranoia if they're NOT out to get you.  But. . . can you really be sure? Tongue

RE: Stalkers
I only really visit three places reliably I am be stalked to, my gym which is locked and secured, my work which is fenced off locked and secured and my home which is pretty secure with good neighbours.

But if someone wants to go full psycho on me it's out of my control.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

This whole online stalking thing makes me sick. What the hell happened to the good old days of following her in a rented car, peeking through her blinds, etc? Back when, stalking took some serious fucking commitment. Lazy fucking millennials think that hacking her twitter feed somehow qualifies as stalking. Sheesh. Give me a shotgun microphone and a telephoto lens any day.

Yes, stalkers.

Put in a little effort.

Occam's razor. The most likely source is the woman/women and their social group.

You don't need to be on facebook etc. yourself.
Your associates can tag you in photos they post online which makes the whole idea of remaining totally anonymous rather redundant.
As such it then becomes a question of how far your potential stalker is willing to dig and what resources they have access to.

For various reasons this is so unlikely it's basically an impossability.

RE: Stalkers
it's impossible to know anything about you, except:
1-Through the data you share (take the members' photo thread here, for example)
2-Through a forum moderator snitching you to the stalker
3-Through finding your IP. and that is also if a moderator snitched you up.

With a proxy app, shutting your mouth and never sharing anything private, never making friends at the site, nobody will get you. Except if moderators snitched you up; of course.

Or, a stalker registers. And build a full profile by chasing you and see what you give.
Oh, or the phone company gave your stuff.

Just a quick reply.
