There's a lot of picking apart of what people write here I've noticed, even if a sentence is clear people will dissect it and put it in another context, slightly annoying.

Why you not a muslim any more then fella?

Back on topic...if he's willingly joined the army then he should not be allowed to leave until his contract is up, what a waste of everyone's time and money otherwise...he know what he was getting himself into.
