He can't seem to fall asleep without it, and if he wakes up in the middle of the night and can't find it, he screams and wakes us up. In that case I'm sorry for the nights ahead. If I lived any closer, I would offer to come babysit him, so that you parents could get some sleep

Hehehe, babysitters. I once floated the idea of finding a good babysitter for those times when my wife and I have conflicting schedules, and she thought that it was a great idea with the provision that she got to pick the babysitter, from a pool of people with either dusty vaginas or huge penises. I decided that a babysitter wasn't a good idea after all.

Good babysitters are hard to find. I'm just happy our sitter is back on summer break from college... DATE NIGHT!!! Overdue, but better late than never

^That's awesome! The cheapest daycare in my area is nearly £300 a week! And they only cater for 9-5 working parents. I work shifts, the ealiest is 06:20-13:20 and the latest is 15:30-22:30. No childcare in London caters for those hours. So surprising, given how common shift work is. So yeah, this is why I have no kids. Lol. I'd literally have to quit my job. That, or let the father get a look in, and that's not gonna happen.
