A Simple Way to Shut Up a Street Preacher

I find the quickest method to silence a street preacher is to walk out of earshot and go and do your shopping. That way you don't violate the street preacher's right of free speech, you minimise the impact on yourself and you affirm your own right to stand in the street preaching atheism (if that's ever what you want to do).

That is actually some great advice there, something I do when I very occasionally encounter street preachers.

I happen to be a gay man who used to be or used to be associated with street preachers. Then, when I was harmed by them by being forced to consent to a gay exorcism and told that I was never truly a believer to begin with, I had to escape, costing me my job of 5 years. I know another way of shutting the street preacher's mouth and as a gay man, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Remember male hookup apps like Grindr, Growlr, Scruff, Adam4Adam and others? First of all, create a fake account on any app (if you're gay and already have any of the apps, you are one step ahead). Secondly, just make sure that the location where the street evangelists has wifi or you have your own wifi on your android phone. Thirdly, approach them. Finally, turn on any hookup app and let it do all the hypocrisy exposure. Best if done at a gay pride event.

Peaceful methods rarely work. Those sick bustards keep babbling the same shit whatever you say, so the only way to shut them up is a good beating in the name of their lord. Remember Sister Dean cursing and insulting the LGBT people - he stopped doing that and ran away after he got beaten with a baseball bat.

Considering all of the proselytising that has been going in my school due to the elections (as well as unpleasant conversations with preachers/street evangelists in the past), I  thought I'd make a simple guide as to disarming these loud-mouthed know-it-alls using one simple Bible verse.

Should you find yourself in a situation involving this type of Christian:

1. Ask the Christian for his/her Bible.
