You are probably right, but right now, I find very little funny about what that fuckface is doing.

One of many extremely unpalatable facts about the embassy move is just how popular the legislation was with both parties, the Dems and the Pubs. The proposed law was adopted by the Senate (93–5),[3] and the House (374–37) after all (thanx Wiki).

Now as to the wisdom of congress dumping that kind of power on future (unknown and unknowable in 1995) presidents, well obviously (but not here for some reason) it doesn't reflect poorly on the presidents, it reflects poorly on our Congress. There was an aborted move in 2011 to repeal it but that bill died. Hard to reconcile the feigned outrage here and elsewhere with the legislative history of how and why the embassy move happened.

As for how the UN vote is categorized, I noted today, with the nays and abstains added together, this is the most pro-Israel vote in decades. Again, more excessively protesting too much is GREATLY in evidence, particularly as to how the vote is described. At least get the basics right, sheesh.

Additionally, as a sovereign country, the US, not the UN gets to decide where our embassies go. That's one of the pesky Government 101 things that for seem reason is still inexplicably cerebrally evanescent is so many minds. And as for congress ceding that power willingly and in perpetuity seems to me to indict of FUCKING congress.

If the blame and outrage is misdirected as badly as it has been this occasion, those stupid sons and daughters of bitches representing us will likely keep fucking up.

Why the fuck would they change how they do business if all of them are re-elected regardless of their Errors ??

Bibi is a threat to world peace just like 45, and just like the theocratic leaders of Saudi Arabia and Iran. I really don't want to take it out on their population just because I hate their PM.

45 panders to the doomsday end times nuts, so by that logic America should not be part of the U.N. either.

ALL THREE are the problem, not one, but all three.

Our species unfortunately has a tendency to circle the wagons to the point of electing war mongers instead of diplomats. Israel doesn't own a monopoly on electing dumbass's.
Good points.

Another nail in the coffin of American international leadership.

Trump has single handedly so irreparably diminished america’s Global influence and perception of the general benign nature of American power that in 12 month, he has made it as if the United States had neither won the Second World War nor the Cold War. Instead of being able to shape the world in its own interest because its own interest is generally regarded as being consistent with the prosperity of most of the world’s major players, America is now no more than a regional power with excessively bloated military and global commitment its vanity does not allow it to relinquish, but which it can neither afford nor meet, because it no longer has the good will of the key players.

I think everyone has right to autonomy, self defense, and security. I do not think any one has a bronze aged claim to territory because their Gods gave it to them. (This includes the U.S) The only reason these WASP Republicans support Israel is because it buys into their end time religious prophecies. They still hate the Jews. The Christian Bible is a Three Act Play. The Jews disappear in the third act.

Those countries also signed Paris climate accord, so does that mean if someone thinks that we should not pollute Earth with CO2 is also against US and should move out?

Are you one of those Christians who "thinks" that in order for Jesus to come back, Israel needs to exist, the Temple in Jerusalem needs to be reconstructed, and Israel's enemies need to stage a massive attack against it?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Israel's going to exist no matter what anybody thinks and when Jesus returns nothing's going to stop him. As far as my being a Christian I'm in the same hand basket as most of you. No true Christian would behave the way I do.
