That's a rather pathetic non-answer, even for you wallym.

Do I see a hint of cognitive dissonance?

FM isn't reading or replying to the content of my posts.  It happens a lot on here.  People create a caricature in their mind, and reply to what they think that caricature would say, rather than what the person they are talking to has actually said.  So I'm left with either discussing the position of the imaginary guy, or wasting my time trying to break the person out of their delusion so we can talk about what I actually said.  Usually, I repeat my point once with some clarification, and if they are still being obtuse, I just move on.

Regarding cognitive dissonance, I'm only asserting a single non-partisan point.  It would certainly be cognitive dissonance if the imaginary person FM is arguing with held both my opinion and the opinion FM made up for said imaginary person.  But that's not particularly relevant to me.

On a side note, am I known for non-answers?  It'd be nice to have a thing.

Hey you said that new jobs were not needed that much in '17 because unemployment wasn't that high and yet Trump played on the card that he is the "biggest job creator that god made" so I guess unemployment was a big issue in '16.

Still, Trump's tax break to the wealthy is making companies that first announced big bonuses to their workers to actually now lay off their workers

Quote:At least two major companies that publicly announced large bonuses for their employees after the passage of a massive GOP-led tax overhaul — which represented a windfall for wealthy Americans and big corporations — quietly laid off hundreds of workers at the same time.

Comcast laid off more than 500 sales employees right before Christmas.

AT&T is also in the process of laying off thousands of employees, according to the Communication Workers of America (CWA) union, which represents AT&T workers. CWA filed a lawsuit against the company claiming that some of those layoffs are needless, and that the timing of the terminations — just two weeks before Christmas — represents “an extraordinary act of corporate cruelty.”

Republican lawmakers touted their tax plan as good news for American workers, arguing that providing corporate tax cuts allows those companies to put money toward worker compensation and job creation. This dubious theory, known as “trickle-down economics,” hasn’t been borne out in U.S. history and is unlikely to work as promised in the Trump era, either.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I say the conclusion drawn from the graph is stupid.  Trump saying something contradictory on the campaign trail doesn't change my opinion.  And unless you think Trump is correct, it shouldn't affect your opinion on the matter either.  What Trump says is a non-sequitur in regards to how you should feel about the meaning of that graph, and yet in every response to why I (not donald trump) think the graph posted by you (also not donald trump) is dumb, your response revolves around Donald Trump.

And those are the unadjusted figures, when they are corrected (usually happens three to six months after the initial estimate), all Trumps job figures were substantially lower than initially announced*.

*Something similar happens with GDP numbers. What you hear as the official figures is only an estimate with a standard deviation of somewhere around 4.5%. And most of the time the trend when the actual GDP numbers are announced is to reduce the number (this is due to GDP being essentially a political statistic, and hence is inflated). So the next time your government announces 2% growth, there's actually a good chance the economy's just shrunk.

The worse things get, the "truer" their fucking prophesies seem to them.

That is what the Dominionist traitors are working towards.  Their imaginary friend will come back with a little help from them.

Not what I am saying. we won this time because people hated clinton and felt they had to vote trump. Could you imagine if all the fence sitters saw hank's name on the ballot?
