It seems like what you have to do to get a lot of rep points in almost no time at all is do most or all of the following:

Rep others when you get the chance so they rep you back.
Post a lot in game threads and other fun social threads.
Let people know a lot of interesting shit about you.
Post pictures of yourself. The better looking you are, the more reps youll prob get.
Ridicule the nonpopular theists but be civil with the popular ones.
Flirt with everyone.
Shamelessly ask for reps as last resort.
