Also, I'm not into most seafood. Which is weird because I live right near one of the Great Lakes and likely so did generations of my ancestors.

My extended family has property in W. MI., on Lake Michigan. Went there many times from '75 to '88 but I never went out and about in a boat nor went swimming in it, so never noticed fish. I wonder what swims in there.

You could probably google it. I live right near Lake Erie, and there are fish there, I wonder if there was ever enough to support a large population? I guess there wouldn't have to be as there are farms around the area.

I looked it up and I guess people catch Walleye.(here) I myself haven't fished since I was in my early teens, maybe younger.

I can. Maybe I'm old school; just throwing that in the thread for curiosity and conversation.

It's appreciated. I think I looked it up and you have a whole lot of different types of fish.

Lake Michigan is home to a wide variety of fish species and other organisms. It was originally home to lake whitefish, lake trout, yellow perch, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and bowfin, as well as some species of catfish.

We have catfish too. In our streams as well. I think I've heard of goofballs getting bitten by them.

Pickled beets. Yuck, they're disgusting. Every once in a while I try them again, and it's like, "nope, nope, nope -- still disgusting!"

Many, many folks love baked beans, I can barely stand to even be seated at a table where others are eating them. And it doesn't matter how they are doctored up.

Ick !!

I can eat and somewhat enjoy chocolate ice cream, but if there are others flavors available, I'd pretty much go with most anything else. Strangely, soft serve vanilla chocolate swirl is great.

(sorry, feels creepy to diss ANY ice cream)
