Group prayer on Skype on behalf of our Christian members
RE: Group prayer on Skype on behalf of our Christian members
You're hilarious Huggy. I'd like to remind you that you are the one that brought up the subject of AI (no idea why).

So if you think that reasoning can only happen in natural brains then maybe you can tell me the neurophysiological difference between reasoning and problem solving.

As in, when the brains of animals and humans are involved in reasoning or problem solving, then how do the brains work differently? And while you're at it, tell me how human brain works differently from other animal brains when problem solving / reasoning.

Because you are the one asserting that there is a difference.

Oh and also backup your claim that one cannot be moral without the ability to reason. You can start by define what reasoning is.

Go ahead. This will be funny to watch Smile

Huggy is indeed hilarious because Christian position is also that human beings don't have any sense of morality and thus the 10 commandments. I mean one of the mantras that Christians keep repeating at atheists is "Where do you get your morals from?" because we don't believe in the Bible and thus we should be killing each-other. I mean every atheist heard this many times over.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

By the way Huggy, why did you bring up the subject of AI?
