Perhaps my position would not seem so inane to you if media reports of citizen "good-guy-with-gun" stories were more widely reported.

Examples of Thwarted Attackes

The above list only considers incidents related to mass shootings. Defensive gun use statistics can be found here:

Now it is legitimate to have different interpretations of data. That is not what you are doing. You are resorting to insults in lieu of reasoned debate.

Generalizing on the basis of a small sample is pretty piss poor reasoning, even for you, Neo.

At the time a one-liner seemed appropriate but probably wasn't the wisest response. Kind of like posting a meme. Hopefully, the above links would at least give you some assurance that I am drawing my opinions from credible data.

Yes, there are accidents involving children. That is a separate issue and it seems to me that stiffer penalties for irresponsible gun ownership are in order.

Congrats Neo you can show some outliers some of which your own Washington post source casts doubt on that doesn't refute Benny's point .So your point not made or at lest extremely weak compared to the lack of such incidents if NRA dogma were true

I know must be awful thinking you loved one did something like this because he was not in his right state of mind .Then having to live with the fact he's dead .
