FYI, Hitler did not ban all firearms. The allies after WW1 put heavy restrictions on firearms on Germany after WW1. Hitler actually expanded firearm rights, but for party loyalists only. 

So if you think liberals are evil, why would you allow evil people to own firearms? It would seem to me if "evil liberals" are unfit to own firearms then you'd have to institutionalize a party oath to own a firearm. Now SHOW ME WHERE THE FUCK in the 2nd Amendment it demands you have to be a Republican or Democrat to own a firearm. There is no political party or religious oath in the 2nd required.

That applies to all laws, not just firearms. Our laws are not decided by proxy of monopoly, but by oversight, advise and consent, and constant individual case by case review, and by voting.

NOBODY, no one lobby or party has a monopoly on lawmaking.

Firearms should be taken away from the mentally ill. They should be taken away from the alcohol and drug addicted. Mainly to prevent suicide. They should be taken away from domestic abusers. They should be taken away from those who express threats of violence, such as those who are disturbed teens, or someone angry at their co workers, or a race or religion. But the easiest way is for the seller to give a fuck at the time of purchase. Rather than what we do now which is react after the fact which is more expensive in response and medical bills and PTSD.

Fact - Australia did indeed ban gun ownership AS A RIGHT - you have to get the government to agree with your reasoning for owning firearms. If it is a right - you don' t have to justify youself.

This isn' t to say the government can' t take away an individual's rights - they can - but the burden of proof is placed upon the government. That' s what a right is.

Saudi Arabia and Iran and even China, are all CONSERVATIVE countries. The do not allow dissent, they do not allow pluralism, politically or religiously. "Liberal" means "open" "more" and or "bigger tent".

What American conservative Christians want isn't freedom for everyone, but freedom to set up a social pecking order where only they are on top.

Funny thing about Australia --- they.took away.a bunch of people's guns - because they couldn't convince some the government they " had a need" for one.
But - more people got licensed to own guns - (got permission) and now there are just as many guns as there was before all the confiscation --- and the crime rate hasn't gone up.
