NZ haven’t finalized a vaccine schedule yet. When they do, we’ll probably be in the you-can-wait-a-bit group - we’re both 50-ish and in good health.
As to whether we’ll take the vaccine, I can’t speak for my wife, but I’m perfectly prepared to trample elderly women and asthmatic children underfoot to make sure I get my jab.

I'll be 70 before the vaccine comes around, lung problems, brain cancer, enough other problems that I'll be content to wave a mother of four into my spot.

I have been approved to participate in the phase 3 trial of the AstraZenica vaccine but I may have to nope out of it for reasons not related to the vaccine. Otherwise, I'll get it as soon as possible.

I'm in the high risk tier due to age and other issues. I want to keep my head down until enough guinea pigs have been inoculated that I don't have to worry overmuch about a bad reaction, though I must admit that most medications I've ever had have given me little trouble.

I teach high school, so I imagine it'll be required for me to take it. Which I'm fine with.
