Ideally, I'd like to be cryogenically preserved moments before I actually die, then fired into the nearest black hole, on the off chance that it actually goes somewhere. Hopefully that somewhere if it exists is a universe where atoms have been unable to form as a result of some intrinsic value of that universe being different from ours, so the universe will be filled only with raw energy. My body and its container will dissolve into this stream of energy and if I am lucky my conciousness might somehow become a part of this new network of energy allowing me to become as a god.

You know that idea is complete bullshit right? Your consciousness is contingent upon meaningful structures of matter, a black hole would utterly destroy all meaningful structure, even if it went anywhere, 'you' would be gone.

I have had both guardianship papers and enduring power of attorney made up in case I go gaga before I cark it. An unpleasant probability unless I get to the serapax and brandy in time. I've said they're welcome to whatever bits they want.

I want the rest scattered from a light plane over Parliament House while it is in session. I don't want to be cremated though.

Organ donation, and if possible I'd like the rest to be composted, with the caveat that my transportation to an appropriate site would be more environmentally friendly than my cremation. (Hey, other creatures in nature decompose where they die. Why shouldn't I do something similar?)

But barring that, cremation.

The plan is to be cremated, that's the most pragmatic thing I can actually do. What I'd like is to be eaten. Not some slow decomposition by bacteria, actually devoured by some big carnivore. Once I'm done with the matter I've been borrowing, I think its a beautiful idea to put it to good use by giving some other magnificent creature life. Circle of life and all that. I thought of a body farm, but the whole maggot thing is rather distasteful to me. Oh sure, part of me would end up as poop, but that's life. Of course this probably won't actually happen, unless I'm sure its coming and put myself out in the wild somewhere with bears or cougars around. So, cremation it is. More than anything I find the idea of keeping something that really isn't yours in a box, under ground, full of chemicals to slowly rot to be a rather bizzarre idea.
