A knockdown prophecy

My potential explanation is: Someone else, 1k years earlier, a chinese man counted 360 joints as well.
If you want to prove its been a prophecy 1ky after this, then you must rule out the chinese dude being correct, by counting joints of a corpse.

The number 360 you find in ancient texts of eastern religions can simply denote a recurring pattern in some ritual,
First of all, just made up shit, again. Lü Bu Wei explicitly claims that "the human body has 360 joints" . Nothing about rituals, magic numbers or whatever shit you would like to make up for Allah. Which part of "you need to DISPROVE" early findings (1ky pre Islam) of 360 joints did you not understand anyway? Going "nuh uhh, i dont think so", is not nearly sufficient, its not even in the ballpark of any kind of sufficient.

Yes, you do, that is if you understand the burden of proof.
I have explained it to you numerous times, so here we go again: YOU claim a prophecy. Thus YOU disprove each and every potential alternative explanation, like Lü Bu Wei gathering said knowledge 1ky prior to Islam and thus Islam being able to have knowledge of his finding.

(September 9, 2022 at 2:46 pm)R00tKiT Wrote: You still think that simply seeing 360 written in some pre Islam text is enough to rule out a prophecy.
YOU are the one who sees 360 written in some islamic text and thinks its enough to claim prophecy.
I think seeing Lü Bu Wei claiming that the human body has 360 joints 1ky prior to Islam is sufficient reason to think that Islam knew of his findings, thus: Prophecy my ass.
You on the other hand think a fact, claimed in the 7th century, is a prophecy, while said facts could have been established by anyone, anywhere, who had
#1 a corpse
#2 something sharp
#3 the ability to count to 360
and apply #2 on #1 while using #3
Aka: Anyone from the stone or bronze age at least.

or are you talking about your Hadith?  Hilarious

Sure, a social reformer and a founder of a world religion really decided to go dissect a body and count joints. I must tell you, Deesse, that's one hell of a stretch.
Social reformer and founder of world religion, therefore no dissection of bodies, or no knowledge of dissection?  Hilarious

Stretch: Maybe to you, because your religious programming prohibits your mind from entertaining even the most simple thoughts, as long as your faith could potentially be threatened.

Yes or no?

Yes, ofc, except he had no way to tell whether the chinese guys got the number right or not,
...and he didnt need to. Hilarious All he needed is to believe it was right. You, of all people, who have no idea of how to properly evaluate your beliefs for truth content, should know how easy it is to fall for BS.

Let's test that, shall we?

Remember your dealing with someone who thinks a Tech Company disassembling and then reassembling a laptop for cameras is a good parody of skepticism despite it literally no sense at all as to why they would do this or any evidence of them doing this in an attempt at some grand deception. As opposed to a video of Laptops being assembled which supports the minimalist claim laptops are created by men. This person is ridiculous  Hehe

RE: A knockdown prophecy
It's like asking if Paris France exists. I've never been there, but, countless others have. The city is mentioned all throughout various history books, and I have seen dozens of video clips about it. (Plus, I saw the Rugrats movie.) In addition, there are dozens (if not hundreds) of webcams at my fingertips that I could view right now.

One might as well embrace Last Thurdayism, at least until Wednesday evening.

There is a lot to say about what constitutes a prophecy and what doesn't, and it's difficult to reach any kind of agreement. Islamic scripture has a clear advantage, however, as there are many hadiths that directly state facts and details that could've very, very easily turned out to be wrong.
