A thread to discuss how you personally do something differently than the norm.
For instance, I don't eat a sandwich as intended. I take it apart and eat each individual parts.

When I take medication in pill or capsule form, I put water in my mouth first then the pills.
This started back when my parents kept Ampicillin on hand in huge bottles and gave it to us for whatever ailed us. It's virtually impossible for me to lose my keys - I have one set sewn on a tether inside my purse, and another one similarly attached to the inside of my university knapsack.
What's more, my house locks are all of the deadbolt type so I have to lock them from the outside, with the key, when going out. 
Every time I've gone up or down a set of steps, I count the number of steps in my head. I still do it now.
