Should I pursue the Escaped Hostages?

Should I pursue the Escaped Hostages?
So, some of the hostages I've been keeping for a rainy day have escaped.

The relevant guard has been dealt with (severely).

I have spare hostages from the University of Canterbury. So, should I pursue these hostages from Victoria University?

As long as you don't come here to North Texas looking for hostages, I say go for it.

Can't you just pop in at Hagley College? Probably not worth as much for ransome purposes, but then they won't be looked for as soon either.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Serious question:

I'm gonna visit Australia in Feb of '25.  It's a cruise that spends the bulk of its time around NZ, but starts in Sydney, then Melbourne, then across the straits to NZ.

We'll probably spend 5-7 days out and about from Sydney.

Is there anything relatively nearby that I absolutely should not miss (besides the typical tourist things)?

Quirky and/or unusual is a plus.

Is Uluru and Alice Springs worth a flight over?

TIA

That’s the first time I’ve heard the Tasman Sea called ‘straits’.

i would just nuke the planet from orbit to make sure the escaped hostages don’t get it into their heads that they are worth more alive than dead.

Only if they are episcopal hostages.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
