Sarah Palin offers thanks to Bush, not Obama, for death of Bin Laden

RE: Sarah Palin offers thanks to Bush, not Obama, for death of Bin Laden
Would you two just get a room already? Dodgy

And Sarah Palin is the prophet of ignoramuses everywhere. Although what she says may have meaning and effect, we all can't know that because everything is wrapped in a steaming pile of pig shit called "family values" and "grizzly mom".

Turns out later, there is a market for pig shit. It's called the Bible Belt.

More complete bullshit. If I was American the only time I'd ever vote republican is if by some freak accident Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination - We both know how fucking likely that is - All the mainstream republicans are just as "big government" as the dems, just with more despicable social policy and some good old family fucking values.

I'd vote for the person who wants less control over our lives and the economy any day, that's 90% of the time not going to be either of your sham authoritarian parties.

I have explained it to you Void. You apparently are very strict about voting only Libertarian. I understand that, but that doesnt stop me from the occasional rib poking.

Tongue

I know that YOU are not teaparty. I know that YOU are not GOP. I know that YOU are not neo-con.

The majority of Libertarians in USA vote and invade the GOP. No matter how much you dispise that, it is a FACT. The American Libertarians vote their economics over their social views...unless...of course...they are YOUR type of Libertarian.

How about a sense of humor? How about an occasional rib poking from yourself? We Progressives are called "Nazi's" by the theo-neo-cons. We have tough skins. I've been a progressive (moderately) since I was 15 years old. That would be 1987.

Lighten up Void. Learn to take a jab and give a jab and have some fun.

Time for your skin to get tough.

To not take Al Qaida seriously and miss warning signs. The terrorists who struck on 9/11 were not some crack commando team, unstoppable once they swung into action. They bungled their way into success, made possible because Bush's attention was somewhere else.

Quote:And Bush going for Sadam was far from the only thing that he did in terms of using tragedy to further authority, such as your TSA 'expansions', the "Patriot act", Gitmo etc.
Correct. Your point?

Quote:You had every right to do that?
Yes. We were struck first and had the right to strike back. What part of that do you dispute?

When the Taliban refused to turn Bin Laden over to us, they declared their allegiance to those who attacked us. The Taliban became our enemy by their choice, not ours.

Quote:That "God given American right" huh?
I see you've decided to lay on the melodrama. You know well you're not speaking to a Christian.

Quote:How many more civilians did you fuckers kill compared to Al Qaida?
Certainly none on purpose, the way they did. We go to great lengths to be surgical in our strikes. If they had turned over Bin Laden, no one would have died.

Quote:All in the name of catching the Boogie man, someone of exaggerated significance to begin with.
Tell that to the dead.

Quote:Yeah, not the best decision in retrospect. I guess he had assumed that the AT's power hunger would see them attempt to usurp the Taliban.
At best, it indicates negligence on Bush's part.

Quote:And symbols are just as important to your culture, nothing like a bit of Osama killing to bolster a shaky re-election campaign.
If this were all about re-election, we'd get this news in 2012.

Quote:And now you're blanket assuming there was a "treasure trove" of information? Based on what? There might have been, but asserting it is out of line.
Based on the fact that we also seized hard drives, files and other information. Maybe there was only goat porn on them but I think it would be logical that the leader and founder of the organization had much more information stored there. I would be surprised otherwise.

Quote:Irrelevant - You claimed he 'officially gave up' That was false. Are you going to retract it?
Hey, it sounds "official" to me but you're right, I should retract it. He never had any interest in catching Bin Laden to begin with. Whether this was because of negligence, an obsession with Saddam or a cynical belief that Bin Laden was more useful out there alive and scaring people than dead is something I can't say for sure.

Yeah, those free and voluntary societies tend to get in the way of you fuckers legislating your values and forcing others to comply.

I said you cannot legislate your values, not that there should not be legislation to protect individual values, but you already know what my position is, you're being nothing more than disingenuous.

See Void. I knew we could meet half way on some things.

As far as your position, I have had very indepth discussions about your economics. I dont know everything about your views. Surely you must realize, as you are obviously smart enough, that economics and social views go hand in hand. You cant have one without the other.

To be fair, I am a mixed economist, so there is really no way you can know my economic views other than I oppose the extremes. Which means I oppose extremism more than I support things.

This is me being disingenuous: "So Void, how about we go to the local evangelical church and get saved?"
