Why under Capitalism is there always unlimited money to wage war?
The recent ( in my view plain wrong ) sorties into Iraq and Afghanistan cost the UK ( which the Establishment claims has a financial defecit ) £20 billion ( we will ignore the death count for this observation ).
The bill to American taxpayers is considerably higher.
Now we are in Libya ( oil reserves ) the bill for this " war " is expected to reach another £1 billion by autumn, with no end in sight.
Is this not criminal?
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

We stopped a lot of bloodshed, that's a good enough reason for me

Bloodshed of my enemies is good bloodshed. I am currently winning a game of Risk by employing this philosophy. And I've been winning since the beginning. Why? Because I forced them to gather their forces on their borders for their security instead of mine.

Tut, but that would mean that you want me dead Heart

I won't be satisfied with my work on this planet until the whole thing is a mess of war and blood and weakness Tiger

I plan to conquer it without a single silicoid loss. Call it a challenge Heart

Ashendant, when you say you are glad " we " are in Libya, would that include yourself and/or family and close friends being there?
The Oxfam report " Growing a Better Future " shows that 1 billion people apound the world go hungry every day, despite the fact that the world is capable of providing sustenance for everyone. At the same time people in the rich countries are getting more obese. And guess what, big business interests are ranked of higher importance by governments than feeding poor people.( 3 companies control 90% of the grain trade ).
What a system![/code]
