RE: New Theme
I was pleasantly surprised to see this new theme when I logged on today. Nice work, folks!

Here's a tissue for your issues

And then the forum looks bleak because the white is dampened. A black would have too much contrast (like this navy blue does, but it's worse because it contrasts sharply with both the white and black), and a white would feel invasive. A steely/storm grey would be just right Tongue

All of the colors I can turn it to make it not look horrid are 'lighter' colors that don't let white take up too much space and that don't look like murder between the white and black. Grey, lavender, sky, pink, silver, mellow, faded traffic cone, tan, cyan... all workable and I'd be fine with any of them. Navy blue (and for that matter, the sharp black on the forum also jarrs me, but I can live with it since it is black), contrasts sharply with both the black and the white of the forum, and makes me feel like this is the high contrast option from windows.

Yeah, what Sae said. I find that the blue and black colors create too much contrast with the white.

When I scroll down a thread, the black horizontal lines stand out too much.

But this is not a big issue at all. Either way, I'll get used to the new colors very soon. Changes can look a little weird at first. Smile ... and good job, Adrian! Big Grin
