The dems are FAR from perfect but at least they pay lip service to the idea that some of these rich motherfuckers should pay their share instead of merely fucking over the elderly, students, the unemployed and disabled war veterans.

Oh yeah, it's obvious it's only the Republicans who are doing tit-for-tat with special interests to get into power, those poor Democrats are only fighting back and the special interests who fund them are clearly just really really nice guys. Besides, it's not like they could 'fight back' by passing legislation to remove private funding for elections or anything, what sort of politician would get support from the people for doing that?
