I'm not sure but I may have a spare ID ... I recall seeing two printed sheets with it on (diff codes) so may be able to help with that.

If you can't find one that works let me know I can put one in the post to you (FOC) so only the ID/code is an issue.

That's great. I may take you up on that. I'm downloading the 64 bit version using BitTorrent. It's 3.29 GB so it might take a while

Ive not tired the beta yet, ive downloaded the iso and got the key and now they're just sitting on my desk. I've got two questions about it:

Is it worth upgrading from vista?
Is it worth upgrading from XP?

No to both questions because it isn't an upgrade, it's a beta (so a risk)

this leads me to believe windows7 isnt even worth looking at as an upgrade option and it would probably be a better plan to wait for windows8:

if the server version of vista can be updated to 7 with something like a service pack then i doubt 7 is different to vista in a core and significant manor as to warrant a new shiny disc.
