A reason why I dont miss The History Channel
#1
It has been four years since I have had pay TV and don't miss having it, especially the History Channel. Which in Australia aired a YEC propganda film The Voyage That Shook The World

You mean other than the reasons I was giving you last night/your morning?
PS - when you're heading off to have lunch, it's more polite to say goodbye first you silly. Tongue

Just like any other channel they have ratings to deal with. They'll put up anything their target demographic is likely to be interested in. Gotta draw the advertisers.
(Way back in the day we called it the Hitler Channel, its was all Hitler, all the time.)

The history channel over here is just mainly about Hitler and Nazis...

My stepdad watches it all the time... But, he is a moron, so you can see that it doesn't really draw in the most intelligent of cretins.

Hehe, that's why Lewis Black called it The Hitler Network. I was more concerned with them airing shit like Ancient Aliens and Monsterquest.

I have lived in households with others wanted to get Pay TV and I shared the costs of it, while getting access to those 99 channels (which I realized later having nothing on).

I have to confess my dad likes that alien astronaut stuff mind you.

Quite a few of my friends like Ancient Aliens... I cringe when they try to tell me about it, and how it is all backed up with hard facts...

LOL, I watch ancient aliens just to get a laugh out of the "Oplis" Guys hair and accent.
