After that, I started reading the bible and realized the "kind and loving" guy I was worshipping was an idiotic prideful asshole. Ironic isn't it? God forbids pridefulness but is the most prideful character ever invented? So much so, he gets offended by people who don't believe in him to the point of eternal torture. Fuck him and whoever wrote about him. I decided I wouldn't wanna worship him even he was real. Thank god he's not. This post brings tears to my eyes, its so true. What kind of loving God punishes his 'children' for eternity, without the possibility of reform? Or punishes trivial lifestyle choices such as homosexuality or premarital sex? What kind of loving God commands his chosen people to commit genocide? To kill women and children? To engage in war with support from his angels? It's a good job this isn't the God worshiped by most religions. |

Not too bright are you JLY...this is EXACTLY the god worshipped by EVERY Abrahamic religion on the planet today... don't care what "flavour" you want to make your fairy story is false and is killing the people it is supposed to help. Please Fuck Off

Secondly this is not the God worshiped in Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, Paganism, Wicca, Roman and Greek Pantheism, various tribal religions etc etc etc. |

Maybe you don't know what it it, you've certainly missed the point of my post. |

I'm still fighting that dogma, the all pervasive secularist mind meld, but you guys surely know how that goes. Going from believing in no gods, to believing the bible, that is one big fucking trip, atheism to deism is big, but adding Christianity is massive. Opening your mind. More like losing you mind. |
