Good. I regard philosophy as mental masturbation. I'll stick with Dawkins and his scientific findings.

I agree with you that a lot of philosophy is mental masturbation. However philosophy can be a useful tool when not abused, for example; there are a huge number of theological problems concerning the existence of god and the claims which the Christian scriptures make.

you wouldn't happen to have read his book 'The Christian Delusion?' I'm super intrigued by it.

Xtians lack facts...which is why they resort to "philosophy."

Let them demonstrate that their fucking "scriptures" are anything more than the rantings of men with an agenda and then they can talk to me about philosophy.

Surely you could post a flyer at that university of yours and find yourself a handful of atheists. I mean, the most liberal place in America is it's college campuses.

Trust me, I've tried it all. I've done flyers, craigslist postings, advertised on my personal blog, advertised on facebook, advertised on a new atheism blog, and even tried to contact personal friends and classmates. All with no avail, until now.

And to anyone with book recommendations, I only have limited time to gather my resources so my sources have been strictly restricted to scholarly journals and speeches from some of the authors you have all mentioned.
