Because the conservartives thinks the rich fully deserves everything and the poor nothing, therefore in their eyes anything would deny the rich anything is a injustice to the rich. And if what is denied the rich is actually given to the poor that would be a double injustice in the eyes of the conservatives.

RE: Occupy Wall Street
The plan for corporate America is to reduce wages to that of a Chinese worker: $3/day. There's still much work to be done before getting to that level. And as Herman Cain said: if you're poor, you've got only yourself to blame.

/// sarcasm off.

RE: Occupy Wall Street
We definitely need the government to stop corporate welfare, but I think what also needs to be done is to reduce the level of regulation, at least on small business owners. There isn't enough incentive for people to start their own businesses anymore, because there is so much red tape you have to step through, not to mention all the costs in order to set up the documents in the first place. If the government really wants to encourage more jobs, it needs to let small business (i.e. the middle class) expand.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't want anyone to take care of me. I just want them to stop fucking me in the ass.

And as Herman Cain said: if you're poor, you've got only yourself to blame.

Gotta love the Christian spirit of this baptist minister. Double douche.

Why don't you let them tell you themselves?

Man's unfailing capacity to believe what he prefers to be true rather than what the evidence shows to be likely and possible has always astounded me. We long for a caring Universe which will save us from our childish mistakes, and in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary we will pin all our hopes on the slimmest of doubts. God has not been proven not to exist, therefore he must exist. --Academician Prokhor Zakharov

Jaysyn THANK YOU for this link. I'm surprised I didn't find this earlier. Reading some of these really clarifies a lot for me.

The French Revolution did not start out knowing where it was going either.
People knew they were hungry and that the aristocracy did not give a flying fuck about them.

We are in roughly the same position with the Upper 1% as the Parisian mob was with the Aristocrats.

The middle class is dying in America. The top 1% are getting wealthier, not paying their share of the tax burden while the rest of the countries slides deeper into debt. There are no jobs but Washington seems obsessed with other issues. Both parties are bought out by special interests and the left in America feels especially disenfranchised having to choose between the far right wing Republicans and the center right wing Democrats.

As always, you do such a wonderful job giving maximum information with minimum wording.
