RE: Marriage
mammals rarely mate for life. Some avian creatures do. I believe instincts have a lot to do with it

I think there's a mammal that does it too...a small one, I think I was told. But I forget what.

It is not that relevant what other animals do, we need to look at what our own species does and how it is wired.

Exactly Leo, some scientist said that we aren't a species that naturally should stick with one parnter all life.

I agree with that. As a person who like variation can I not think of staying with the same partner my whole life.

RE: Marriage
There are those who think commitment is a good thing...

There are those who are commitment phobic, regardless of whether they ultimately think it's a good idea or not...

Then there are those who just think it's a bunch of shite (like me)...

And besides...what about the NON-commitment phobes...the DEtachment phobes...those that fear loss? Those that are attached and feel very dependent on their partner?

What about the flip-side to the commitment-phobes? Those who can't 'let go' or 'release' with all their superficial, lovesick emotions...unworthy of the real thing at its best?

What about them? Lol Tongue

Seriously tho..

I think 2 and 1/2 men is quite a good example of showing two diffrent set of lifestyle. One who ends up having commited relationships and one just sleeping around.

I know which I would chose and also those it show which one of them is the best. If you seen the show you knowBig Grin
