Nice speculation.

Why would it be a speculation?
Did we speculate on anything when the USA was helping the mujaheddin in Afghanistan?

If you don't know precisely why it would certainly not be a speculation, then it is a speculation.

I found this video online today, I thought it might relate to the thread here.

I am in support of any rebellion trying to bring down a government. Such a shame they are always so obsessesed with setting up another government to replace it. Kind of defeats the point for me... no government or style of governing is so much better than another.

Really... why are people so obsessed with having a government and laws? There was a time I thought regulations on companies should be maintained... But nowadays I see eye to eye with the anarcho-capitalists regarding laws. I'm just on the far left and reject capitalism and indeed money entirely, but I see no reason why they should be denied it. I think that a syndicate and anarcho-capitalists could perhaps live side by side. Smile

Even if the rebellion is financed through people other then citizens of the country for reasons that would not benefit the country with the rebellion?
Without NATO strikes the dumb rebels would have not succeeded. I just read NATO are the ones who bombed the convoy to to allow rebels to capture and kill him.
Freedom fighters would not have beaten and murdered Gaddafi. No trial now... how convenient.
