Questions for theists.

Questions for theists.
1) as an atheist, what will happen when I die because I reject faith and superstition, through lack of evidence.

2) what will happen to my children as they haven't been christened, baptised or genitally mutilated?

3) my mum is a dead atheist who was a wonderful moral person, kind and accepting of others beliefs, a socialist and altruist who spent her life helping those with mental difficulties. What would happen to her?

4) because atheists are not gullible enough to believe things without proof and we cannot force ourselves to believe,(I have tried) would god be nice to us because of this?

Of course we know the answer, but religion can distort normal things into horrible conclusions, conforming to their own faith. If any answer other than the common sense answer is given - if the men of faith stick by their book - it will be a bleak and horrific answer surely.
But of course that's what religion is.
Sorry, I guess you wanted a theist answering Smile

1) You will be seperated from God for eternity in a place called hell.

2) Depends on their choices they make during their lives. The three things you listed has nothing to do with their eternal destination.

3) The answer for #1 applies to her also, sorry, you asked.

4) If by nice you mean anything other than your choice of hell, no.

Fundy has given you what he believes.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

My answers from an Islamic perspective:

1. You will be put in Hell, probably. I don't know for sure because only God knows your future in the next life.
2. Anything can happen and it doesn't necessarily have to be something bad. They might even grow up to be some of kind of an Einstein.
3. Her good morality and her good actions may have benefited many people. But, her disbelief is still blocking her entry to Heaven.
4. No. Even though God likes people who try to be rational (and honest), He can also punish them if they are wrong. However, I certainly feel sorry for them.
