Why was the pilot trying to land there? There was no margin for error as far as I could see.

Did anyone see that documentary, not sure what it was called, something like we're off to kill Bin Laden Ya hoi, Ya hoi, Ya hoi. Anyway they crashed their fancy stealthy helicopter and the reason sounded pretty dodgy.
