Smile I've seen those in an Urban Gardening magazine I sometimes read. It's a cool set up.

Fascinating.Interesting that he's using soil as the growing medium.Whether he can eat what he produces depends on what he is feeding his plants. Most organic fertilisersr are fine. Many chemical feeds used in hydroponics are not.

I grow stuff from cuttings mainly.Right now it's nandina, penny royal some native ground and monsteria deliciosa. I do grow herbs some veggies from seed.Transplant everything once their root are established.

It's a very simple system,cost me about $50 to set up.The feed is $50 for 4 litres,which lasts me a year.

The photo below was taken about a year ago.My set is at the back. You can see some of the bins and collection tubs underneath.

It was a joke about being weird. I think people who don't like to grow shit are the weird ones.

From a fellow gardener I would agree my dear... but the joke is n us who love to garden.

Unfortunately the majority of hominids don't like to get their hands dirty or put in an honest days worth of work.

Have I shown you my latest bit of handy work??

If you have the coin for the pumps and misters, try a closed aeroponic loop Moros. Less stress on the roof due to weight (increased efficiency and growth rates as well).
