TBH, I don't think that was lucent, he is too batshit of a fundie so pretending to be an agnostic would be heresy on his view.

Altough it was fishy, because last saturday and part of yesterday we were discussing precisely this with lucy.

That's why I think it's Lucent. Same behaviour. Same childish behaviour you would expect from a spoilt 5 year old.
He just can't accept the definition of atheism.

I'm quite sure it's him.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

I guess if you take in the aspect of handling insults, they do sound alike. Altough insults rarely work on me, I figured out that using insults is a nice way to test for an argument's strenght. When someone breaks his thrend of tought because of an insult, basicly being paused by pride, it kinda shows the bias and strenght of one's argument.

I'm not as sure, its possible to be an agnostic lurker that got inspired by the post with lucent. As horrific as it may sound, lucent isnt the only crazy set loose on this world.

I don't quite understand the difference in believing there is no or are no gods, and not believing in the existence of gods. Are not both statements the same?

I don't mind if someone claims that I have the belief in no gods, but I would have a problem with them stating that my lack of belief is akin to one who worships a god.
